Brotherhood of St. Andrew
The Brotherhood began in 1883 as a prayer and Bible study group of young men at St. James Church, Chicago. The Brotherhood was incorporated by an Act of Congress signed by President Theodore Roosevelt in 1908. The Act states, ―That the sole object of said corporation shall be the spread of Christ’s Kingdom among men.
The Brotherhood at Christ Church manages the Hudson Community Service Association Food Pantry monthly collection on the second Sunday of each month. Please drop off the food in the shopping cart at the entrances to the church. Once collected the men deliver the food to the pantry.
